With Henrietta Quinnell. Hembury is Devon’s outstanding hillfort, overlying the site of a complex causewayed enclosure: ST 113 030: car park on minor road a little to the north west of the site. Blackbury is a good example of a simpler site: SY 187 924: car park immediately adjacent. Come for either or both sites but let Henrietta know beforehand if possible. If you need or can offer a lift let her know.
