Seminars are events organised to allow interaction between specialist and audience in an informal atmosphere. Often these include opportunities for handling archaeological material or demonstrations such as flint knapping or the use of prehistoric querns.

Berkeley House Seminars
Seminars are held in the DAS premises at Berkeley House, Dix’s Field, Exeter EX1 1UZ. Prior booking is essential to ensure numbers appropriate for the topic. There is no charge. This continues the joint sessions held with the Implement Petrology Group of the South West Museums Federation. Mik Markham has researched widely into the sourcing of stone axes, especially those in South West Britain. North Roe is unusual in the good survival of the source sites and evidence for manufacture.
