Seminar: The North Roe Felsite Project, Shetland. New work on axes and other artefacts, with Mic Markham
This continues the joint sessions held with the Implement Petrology Group of the South West Museums Federation. Mik Markham has researched widely into the sourcing of stone axes, especially those in South West Britain. North Roe is unusual in the good survival of the source sites and evidence for manufacture.
